Bringing together researchers from the humanities, the social sciences, and computational linguistics, the collaborative research project hermA deals with fundamental epistemological and methodological questions of how of gaining knowledge from textual bases and how these hermeneutic processes can be supported by automated means in the era of Digital Humanities.
